California Nurses Endorse Jim Wood for State Assembly

Another early endorsement shows growth of campaign

Healdsburg - The California Nurses Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee (CNA/NNOC) Political Action Committee announced their endorsement of Jim Wood for California State Assembly, 2nd Assembly District.

“I look forward to working with California Nurses as we work to expand access to quality healthcare which is critical to our local communities,” said Wood.

Jim Wood is the current Mayor of Healdsburg and has served on the City Council for the past seven years. Wood was a dentist in Cloverdale for over 25 years. Visit the web to read more at www.jimwoodforassembly.com

The 2nd Assembly district is one of the largest in California and includes Del Norte, Humboldt, Trinity, and Mendocino counties, and the northern half of Sonoma County. Due to term limits, current Assemblymember Wes Chesbro cannot seek re-election.
